List of International Trips Undertaken by Mr. Narendra Modi- Prime Minister of India in the year 2015

Mr. Narendra Modi, who had taken charge as the 15th Prime Minister of India,  on 26th May 2014, has undertaken 9 -‘International Visits’ to various countries, in the year 2014,  between 16th June 2014 and 27th November 2014.

In the year 2015,  PM Narendra Modi has undertaken 28- ‘International Trips’ between 10th March 2015 and 25th December 2015.

The Following is a List of International Trips Undertaken by Mr. Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India in the year 2015:-

1. PM Modi visited Victoria in   SEYCHELLES  from 10th March 2015 to 11th March 2015, for 2 days, as a State Visit. The visit of PM Modi to Seychelles had been a part of his “Indian Ocean outreach” Programme.  During the visit to Seychelles, PM Modi  held talks with the President of Seychelles- James Alexis Michel to strengthen maritime ties and enhance bilateral development and cooperation, between India and Seychelles

2. PM Modi visited Port Louis in  MAURITIUS from 11th March 2015 to 13th March 2015 for 3 days as a  State Visit.

During the visit toMauritius, PM Modi was the ‘Chief Guest’ at the ‘Mauritian National Day’ on 12th March 2015.

3. PM Modi visited Colombo and Jaffna in SRILANKA from 13th March 2015 to 14th March 2015 for  2 days as a State Visit. The visit of PM Modi to Srilanka  was subsequent to the visit to India by the  new  Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena in February 2015.4. PM Modi visited Singapore in SINGAPORE on  29th March 2015 for 1 day to attend the State Funeral of Lee Kuan Yew, the First Prime Minister of Singapore.During the visit to Singapore PM Modi met many leaders of various countries from all over the world

5.  PM Modi visited Paris, Toulouse and Neuve-Chapelle in FRANCE from 9th April 2015 to 12th April 2015 for 3 days as a State Visit. During the visit to France, PM Modi encouraged the ‘French Companies’ to participate in the ‘Make in India Programme’ in Defence, Power and Food Processing

6. PM Modi visited Berlin and Hannover in GERMANY  from 12th April 2015 to 14th April 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit. During his visit to  Hannover PM Modi had campaigned his ‘Make in India Programme’ to the German Industries

7. PM Modi visited Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver in CANADA  from 14th April 2015 to 16th April 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit. During the visit to Toronto, PM Modi addressed Indians in Toronto

8.  PM Modi visited Xi’an, Beijing and Shanghai in CHINA from 14th May 2015 to 16th May  2015 for  2 days as a State Visit. 9. PM Modie visited Ulan Bator in MANGOLIA  from 16th May  2015 to 17th May  2015 for 2 days as a State Visit. PM Modi is the ‘First Indian Prime Minister to visit Mangolia. During the visit to Mangolia PM Modi held talks on supply of Mangolian Uranium to India

10.  PM Modi visited Seoul in SOUTH KOREA from 18th May 2015 to 19th May  2015 for 2 days as a State Visit. PM Modi’s visit to South Korea was a part of India’s ‘East Asia Policy’ and to promote his ‘Make in India Programme’ among the Korean Investors

11. PM Modi visited Dhaka in BANGLADESH from 6th June 2015 to 7th June 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit. During the visit to Bangladesh PM Modi discussed with H.E.Shekh Hasina, the PM of Bangladesh, the ratification of the ‘India-Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement-1974 and the Protoclol-2011’.

During the visit to Bangladesh, PM Modi also met H.E.Mr.Md.Abdul Hamid, the President of Bangladesh.

PM Modi’s visit to Bangladesh is expected to further expand the cordial and cooperative relationship between India and Bangladesh and also strengthen the friendship and trust between the two countries.

12.  PM Modi visited Tashkent in UZBEKISTAN on 6th July 2015 for 1 day as a State Visit.

13. PM Modi visited Astana in  KAZAKHSTAN on 7th July 2015  for 1 day as a State Visit. 14. PM Modi visited Ufa in RUSSIA from 8th July 2015 to 10th July 2015 for 2  days.  This visit of PM Modi to Russia was to attend the 7th ‘BRICS’- Summit. This was the first visit of PM Modi to Moscow and the Second ‘BRICS’ Summit he attended. 15. PM Modi visited Ashgabat in TURKMENISTAN from 10th July 2015 to 11th July 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit.  PM Modi visited Turkmenistan and other Central Asian Countries subsequent to the visit to Russia for BRICS Summit

16. PM Modi visited Bishkek in KYRGYZSTAN on 12th July 2015 for 1 day as a State Visit 17. PM Modi visited Dushanbe in TAJIKISTAN from 12th July 2015 to 13th July 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit.

18 . PM Modi visited Abu Dhabi and Dubai in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (UAE) from 15th August 2015 to 17th August 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit. PM Modi’s visit to UAE was after 34 years from the earlier visit of the former Prime Minister of India, Mrs.Indira Gandhi to UAE  in the year 1981.

19. PM Modi visited Dublin in IRELAND  on 23rd August 2015 for 1 day as an Official Visit related to Trade, Commerce and Aviation.

20. PM Modi visited New York and San Francisco in USA from 24th September 2015 to 30th September 2015 for 6 days to attend the United Nations General Assembly.   The visit of PM Modi to USA was his second visit to USA as PM of India and the ‘Third Bilateral Summit’ with the US President Obama.21.PM Modi visited London and Chequers in the UNITED KINGDOM(UK)  from 12th November 2015 to 14th November 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit.22. PM Modi visited Antalya in TURKEY  from 15th November 2015 to 16th November 2015 for 2 days to attend the ‘G-20 Summit’.23. PM Modi visited Kuala Lumpur in MALAYSIA  from 21st November 2015 to 22nd November 2015 for 2 days to attend the ‘ASEAN-India summit’ and ‘East Asia Summit’. This was PM Modi’s second visit to the ‘East Asia Summi’ and the related ‘ASEAN’ – India Summit 24.  PM Modi visited Singapore in SINGAPORE from 23rd November 2015 to 25th November 2015 for 2 days. This visit of PM Modi to Singapore was in response to the invitation of Lee Hsien Loong, the Prime Minister of Singapore, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Singapore-India Bilateral Ties 25.PM Modi visited Paris in FRANCE from 30th November 2015 to 01st December 2015 for 2 days to attend the ‘United Nations Climate Change Conference’- COP21 held at Paris.  PM Modi attended the ‘Leaders Event of the COP21- Conference’ and set out ‘India’s Strategy’ to contain Global Warming26. PM Modi visited Moscow in RUSSIA  from 23rd December 2015 to 24th December 2015 for 2 days as a State Visit.27. PM Modi visited Kabul in AFGHANISTAN  on 25th December 2015 for 1 day as a State Visit.28. PM Modi visited Lahore in PAKISTAN on 25th December 2015 for 1 day as a State Visit.
