Miss. Krishna Patil, a 21 years old girl became the second woman from Maharashtra to climb Mount Everest the world’s highest peak (8,848 metres high) on 21st May 2009.
Miss.Krishna Patil’s team of ten mountaineers began its Everest expedition on 12th April 2009.
Miss.Krishna Patil is the daughter of Mr.Madhav Patil(Merchant Navy) and Mrs. Ranjana Patil residents of Aundh in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
According to Mrs.Ranjana Patil, Miss.Krishna could fulfill her life-time dream of climbing the Mount Everest by practising by climbing almost all the forts in the State of Maharashtra.
