Google Pays Tribute To Indian Cartoonist R.K.Laxman on his 94th Birth Anniversary

Google has, so far, created over 2000 Doodles to celebrate:

  • Different holidays,
  • Anniversaries and
  • Lives of famous artists, pioneers and scientists.

Today, the 24th October 2015 is the 94th Birth Anniversary of the famous Indian Cartoonist-R.K.Laxman.

“Google”, today, on 24th October 2015, Saturday has paid  tribute to  the Legendary Indian Cartoonist- RK Laxman with  a ‘Doodle’.

The Doodle on R.K.Laxman has been sketched in  black and white.

R.K.Laxman’s Art Studio is displayed with his work desk on the left and a number of canvases on the right.

R.K.Laxman is seen sitting at the centre, on a chair, sketching out ‘The Commom Man’ on a canvas.

The Common Man is seen standing behind the canvas with a ‘News Paper’ in his hand.

The Google Logo is on the back-ground of the above doodle.

According to ‘Google’, R.K.Laxman was best known for his ‘Common Man character’ drawn by him in his cartoons as a witness to the kinds of hypocrisies and societal inequalities, which, R.K. Laxman wanted to expose silently.
