More than Two Lakhs bookings for Tata Nano Car

Tata Motor’s Peoples’ car ‘Nano’ has received a very good response by 2, 03, 000 bookings made from the date of launch of the car the 23rd March 2009 to the closure of the booking period which was 25th April 2009 for the “Rupees One Lakh Car”. The amount received for the bookings amount to Rs 2500 Crores.

Among the three variants of the car bookings have been made as below:-

• 20 percent for the Nano Standard
• 30 percent for the Nano CX
• 50 percent for the top-end Nano LX
