Satya Nadella succeeded Steve Ballmer and became the third CEO of Microsoft in the year 2014.

Ajit Jain

From the year 1973 to 1976, Jain had worked for IBM as a Salesman for their Data Processing Operations in India.

In the year 1976, IBM had to discontinue their operations in India and Jain went to USA and obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School and joined McKinsey&Co.

In the year 1986, started to work on the Insurance operations for ‘Buffet’.

In the same year 1986, Jain joined the Insurance Division of Berkshire Hathaway, as invited by  Mr.Michael Goldberg, the former boss of Jain at  McKinsey, who joined Berkshire Hathaway leaving McKinsey in the year 1982.

Now, Ajit Jain is the President of Berkshire Hathway Insurance group.

Sanjay Jha had led and overseen the development of 5 Generations of Modem and Cell site Chipsets, both digital baseband and Radio Frequency/RF and System software.

In the year 1998,Sanjay Jha was promoted as the Senior Vice President of Engineering-Qualcomm

In the year  2002, Sanjay Jha led the formation of Qualcomm Technologies & Ventures, where he managed both the technology investment portfolio and the new technology group as the Senior Vice President and General Manager.

In the year 2003, Sanjay Jha became the Executive Vice President of Qualcomm and the President of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies.

In June 2005, Sanjay Jha was elected to the ‘Board of Directors’ of the Semi Conductor Industries Association and he also served as the Vice Chairman of the Fabless Semi Conductor Association.

In December 2006, Sanjay Jha became the Chief Operating Officer/COO  of Qualcomm.

Afterwards Sanjay Jha was the Chief Executive Offier/CEO of Motorola’s Mobile Devised Business.

Sundar Pichai worked in engineering and product management at Applied Materials and in management consulting at McKinsey & Company

In the year 2004, Sundar Pichai joined Google,  where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google’s client software products, including Google Chrome  and Chrome OS, as well as being largely responsible for Google Drive.

He went on to oversee the development of different apps like Gmail and Google Maps.

On 19th  November 2009, Sundar Pichai gave a demonstration of Chrome OS and the Chrome book was released for trial and testing in 2011 and released in public in 2012 .

On 20th  May 2010, Sundar Pichai announced the open-sourcing of the new video codec VP8 by Google, and introduced the new video format WebM.

On 13th March 2013,Sundar Pichai added Android to the Google products he oversees. Android was formerly managed by Andy Rubin.

Sundar Pichai was announced as the next CEO of Google on 10th  August 2015,  after previously being appointed Product Chief by current CEO Larry Page on 24th  October 2014.

Sundar Pichai will step into the new position as the CEO of Google , upon the completion of the formation of Alphabet Inc., the new conglomerate for the Google company family.
