K Radhakrishnan took over charge of ISRO from G Madhavan Nair

Dr.G.Madhavan Nair has been the Chief of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Trivandram, Kerala, since 2003 and Mr.K.Radhakrishnan an emiment scientist/an Electrical Engineer has taken over charge of ISRO from Mr. Nair on 31st October 2009. Mr.Radhakrishnan is with ISRO since 1971 and he has held many key positions in ISRO.ISRO under the able leadership of Mr.Nair has successfully launche 25 mission, including India’s maiden lunar mission “Chandrayaan-1” in October 2008 which enabled NASA to confirm the presence of water molecules on the surface of the moon.

Mr.Radhakrishan realizes the great expectations from him as the leader of ISRO, a huge responsibility to carry on the good work done by his predecessor Mr.Nair, with the co-operation of his employees.
