Indian Cricket Super-Star Sachin Tendulkar is “Number One” Batsman in ICC Ranking

India’s Cricket Super-Star, Sachin Tendulkar has become ICC’s “ Number One”-Batsman, after the Test Series against Australia, which ended on 13th October 2010 with India’s winning the Series.In the Test Series against Australia, Sachin scored his 6th ‘Double-Century’ and he was given the “The Man of the Series”-Award.

In the latest ICC Ranking List Sachin Tendulkar with 891 points stands the ‘Number One’. He was with 809 points at the beginning of the Test Series against Australia

Sachin has become the ‘Number One’ in ICC Batting Ranking for the 9th time.

Earlier Sachin was ranked ICC-‘Number One’ in August 2002, after the Test Series against England, in which India won.

He became the ICC- ‘Number One’ for the first time, in his 33rd Test on 18th November 1994 in the Test Series against West Indies, in which also India won.

Sachin Tendulkar is creating records in Cricket continuously; by becoming the ICC-‘Cricker of the year’ and the ICC-LG-People’s Choice’ Cricketer only recently on 6th October 2010.
